CAUSING TROUBLE

I have always wondered why some certain people always have a way of getting themselves  into trouble no matter how careful they try to be. What is it that they could be doing wrong or is it just plain bad luck? Trouble comes in several forms and trust me, trouble will always come whether you want it to or not, some are glaring and some are not so obvious, you are either troubling the water or waiting for the wave to hit you. A speed boat parked by the the sea shore does not cause trouble to the water but it’s simply minding it’s business. But when the wave comes, it pushes the boat away from its original position and closer to the shore. When you turn on the engine of the same boat and apply gas, the motor of the boat causes a disturbance in the water and it begins to move while you steer in the direction you want. I soon realized that as nasty as it may seem sometimes, that bit of trouble you got yourself into was just probably the only lesson you needed to learn at that particular point in time or it was just what you needed to stir you up and get you that much needed breakthrough.

TROUBLE and troublemakers are one nasty bunch and dealing with it/them can prove to be a herculean task. Sometimes the trouble maker you need to fortify yourself against is you. But nonetheless, trouble is a necessary menace you need to create and curb. Take for example the early cave men who were probably dying of starvation and dead tired of eating  fruits and vegetables until they went looking for the cow’s trouble and found that ‘oh wow we can actually kill this thing and eat it to satisfy and quench that hunger’.

There are a certain type trouble that finds you when everything in your life is going so smooth and peaceful that when it hits you, you get so overwhelmed and start to entertain the idea that this could be it, this could be where it all ends! I bet that’s exactly the thought on the mind of the Eaglet when it’s mama hovers over its nest and begins to shake the nest rigorously. The Eaglet from its birth to its first fall from the nest has no intention of leaving the nest… After all why should it? When everything it needs are being catered for by its superhero mama who would go to any length and kill almost anything to bring the world to the Eaglet. You can imagine the betrayal the Eaglet feels when the Eagle kicks it out of the nest and it starts falling to the ground, and after several failed attempts to flap its wings and fly, it finally gives up hope and prepares for a crash, that’s when the mother eagle swoops in from underneath and catches the Eaglet on its wings. All of this is just to open the Eaglet to its potential and the reality of what it truly is. So also, stirring up the water can produce that genius you need to create that brilliant invention.

Where you are now might be comfortable and rosy but that does not necessarily mean that you are where you are supposed to be.
